Student life

Abdoulaye is a student in the Grande Ecole Program on the Aix-en-Provence campus. As the recipient of an excellence scholarship (which each year enables 15 deserving Malian high school graduates to pursue their studies in France), he found the support he needed among his fellow students to develop a project that has been close to his heart since his arrival in France: creating his YouTube channel, Learn with me, to share his knowledge and insights, the fruit of his many experiences.

Engaging content tailored to its audience

The originality of Abdoulaye's YouTube channel lies in the fact that he shares his daily life as an engineering student. Abdoulaye explains, "I give advice on how to be more productive, improve personally, and study effectively. This advice is drawn from my various experiences and my reading."

By putting himself in the spotlight, he offers content on various topics tailored to students: tips on managing time, budgets, and personal finances; adopting good habits; writing resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn profiles; preparing for interviews; and taking notes.

He also conducts interviews with other students to discuss topics such as engagement, sports, and nutrition.

An experience that is exciting, fulfilling, and educational

Joining Arts et Métiers greatly Arts et Métiers to this initiative. "It allows me to address different student profiles. It was also here that I found an environment that encouraged me to take the plunge and pursue this adventure," Abdoulaye emphasizes.

Engrossed in the game, this experience allowed him to acquire new technical skills (video editing, computer graphics) and writing skills. Producing content also led him to research and develop his ability to synthesize information in order to best meet the needs of his audience.
