The program takes the form of tutoring for students in grades 8 through 12, on the one hand, and one-off activities, on the other. Engineering and Technology Day is an event designed to raise awareness of scientific and technical careers, attended by professionals.

Isabelle DUBAND and Amélie LAURIAU, physics and chemistry teachers at Henri Parriat High School, brought together professionals fromHaulotte andAlstom in Le Creusot, as well as four students from the Grande Ecole Program on the Cluny campus. During roundtable discussions, the speakers talked about their educational and professional backgrounds while offering advice to students in grades 10 through 12.

The aim of this day is to contribute to changing attitudes regarding the place of women in scientific and technological careers, emphasizes Isabelle Duband.

To reinforce this objective and complement this initiative, high school students were given the opportunity to visit the exhibition "La science Taille XX Elles" (Science SizeXX Women), which presents twenty portraits of female scientists in order to raise their profile. The exhibition was organized by the association Femmes & Sciences, the CNRS, and the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. Arts et Métiers also Arts et Métiers an exhibition entitled "Technologie, nom féminin" (Technology, feminine noun), which has the same objectives.
