Can you tell us about your career path?

I studied engineering atIPSA (the Polytechnic Institute of Advanced Sciences, an aeronautical and space engineering school), where I took an elective in "Production and Operational Maintenance Management." During my studies, I completed three internships. During my first internship, at an aeronautics company, I was introduced to quality through a tool (the 5S tool). I really liked the presentation I was given and what it represented. I then did two more internships in quality.

After completing my studies, I looked for a job and worked as a temporary employee. At the same time, I was looking for training to specialize in quality.

Why did you choose to pursue a Specialized Master's degree in quality?

I really wanted to develop this aspect of applying and learning the tool, to go further. I wanted to develop this skill and prove that I had acquired it through training. What's more, the Specialized Master's is a degree program, so I would have a Bac +6!

Why did you choose Arts et Métiers complete your Specialized Master's degree?

Because it's a school that's well known in the business world! But also because the MS Quality Management program is very highly ranked in the Eduniversal rankings (2nd in the "Purchasing and Supply Chain" category), which I consulted before registering on theArts et Métiers website. I also took the time to talk to former students and get their feedback, which was positive.

What do you think are the advantages of the Specialized Master's degree?

The instructors are industry professionals and true experts! 95% of the courses are taught by professionals. All courses include a theoretical component followed by a practical component covering the application and implementation of the tool. The instructors offer exercises and practical work that are truly adapted to all sectors. This part covers the first six months of training, or approximately 400 hours of classes from late September to late February. The following six months are dedicated to the professional thesis, during which we carry out a full-time assignment in a company.
In addition, the Specialized Master's program evolves each year and is therefore constantly updated to meet the demands of the sector.
Of course, there is also the Arts et Métiers name, Arts et Métiers makes the program an asset!

What are your career prospects?

I am currently looking for an internship in the field of quality that will enable me to complete my professional thesis, put into practice and validate the skills I have acquired during this specialized master's degree. I studied aeronautics, but the advantageArts et Métiers is that you can really work in any sector! In the long term, I would like to become a quality manager, which is what we are being trained for today.
