Creation of a chair for training in Digital Transformation between Arts et Métiers Sopra Steria Next

On October 5, 2020, Arts et Métiers Sopra SteriaNext signed a three-year sponsorship agreement to createa training chair on the Paris campus. This is the first training chair offered at Arts et Métiers.

A training chair, the result of a long-standing partnership with Sopra Steria Next

After partnering with the Arts et Métiers campuses Arts et Métiers Paris and Aix-en-Provence for several years, Sopra Steria Next is strengthening its collaboration with Arts et Métiers becoming a patron of the school.

This sponsorship initiative involves the creation of a teaching chair titled “Science and Technology for Digital Transformation,” which will focus on the technological, organizational, and societal challenges of digital transformation, and is intended for third-year engineering students in the Grande Ecole Engineering Programme.

Arts et Métiers, a socio-economic player serving local communities and industry, aims to stay closely attuned to the needs of businesses by training engineers who will be able to respond to their challenges.
The digital revolution is a major upheaval for individuals, businesses, and society as a whole, and must be taken into account in the training of tomorrow's engineers.
The "Science and Technology for Digital Transformation" training chair will therefore train engineers who will be able to understand all aspects of the digital revolution.

Designed entirely to meet the real needs of businesses in terms of digital transformation, the training program was developed by theArts et Métiers teaching teamArts et Métiers experts from Sopra Steria Next. Francisco Chinesta, lecturer and researcher, and Nicolas Hascoët, research engineer, are the Arts et Métiers teaching managers Arts et Métiers the training chair. Sopra Steria Next experts will be involved in certain modules, teaching face-to-face with students. They will also suggest topics for study and participate in their assessment.

Opened in September 2020, 26 Arts et Métiers students Arts et Métiers currently Arts et Métiers this program, which is taught at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Paris.
