Round table discussion: " Arts et Métiers: Skills at the Service of Agribusiness Performance"

On Wednesday, September 6, the Arts et Métiers campus will participate in the annual Châlons-en-Champagne Fair with a stand on the main square and a round table discussion entitled " Arts et Métiers, skills at the service of agribusiness performance." The campus's ambition is above all to be a partner in innovation at the local level, but also to position itself as an institution that accelerates talent in various sectors of activity.

A prestigious school and skills at the service of innovation

For this 71st edition of the Châlons-en-Champagne Fair, the Arts et Métiers campus will take over the main square on Wednesday, September 6. This event will be an opportunity to promote the courses offered by the School to a wide audience. Throughout the day, staff and students will present a range of different technical skills that serve local industry. Student projects resulting from collaborations with regional companies will also be on display.

Arts et Métiers certified success stories

Starting at 6:30 p.m., a round table discussion open to the public on the theme of " Arts et Métiers, skills at the service of agribusiness performance" will close the day. Engineers who graduated Arts et Métiers about their professional careers and the diversity of sectors covered by the program. Speakers will discuss the theme of agribusiness in particular:

  • Introduction and presentation ofArts et Métiers Laurent Champaney, Managing Director ofArts et Métiers;
  • Designing and building an agro-industrial site - Philippe Masson, Deputy Director of Gnat Engineering ;
  • Energy challenges in agro-industrial processes: producer/consumer duality - Jérôme Legris, Head of Operations for Marne at Cofely ;
  • Agro-industrial project manager - Alain Le Floch, Chief Executive Officer of Vivescia and Chairman of the Board of Directors ofArts et Métiers;
  • Expertise in "Alternative engines and fuels" -  Jean-Charles Ricaud, Head of Training and Research and Development at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne;
  • Conclusion by Giovanni Radilla, Director of the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne.

This round table discussion will take place at the Espace Muselet du Capitole in Champagne, and attendance will be limited to 200 people.
