As part of the European ColRobot research project, led by Arts et Métiers, the Lille campus welcomes Michael Wolf , robotics researcher and supervisor of NASA's Maritime Autonomy and Multi-Agent Group .

Michael Wolf is a robotics researcher and supervisor of the Maritime Autonomy and Multi-Agent Group at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory. He is the principal investigator for numerous autonomous vehicle projects for NASA and defense agencies, focusing on technological development for multi-robot coordination and unmanned vehicles on the sea surface. Michael Wolf's research focuses on multi-agent systems, multi-target tracking, autonomy software architectures, sensor fusion, motion planning, and natural human-robot interfaces.

This talk will provide an overview of multi-robot technology development activities at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). First, the talk will briefly share a vision for potential NASA multi-agent missions, such as constellations of spacecraft, networked planetary observers, and distributed openings in orbit.
