The Industrial Management expertise Arts et Métiers Campus enables third-year students to maintain strong ties and regular contact with the partner companies of the Industrial Management Training Chair. This approach is greatly appreciated by the various stakeholders. Eighteen months after the creation of the Training Chair, it is time to take stock.

The five industrial partners of the Training Chair (MC2i, Mov'ntec, EDF, Hermès, XL Groupe) met on February 7 during a steering committee meeting with the campus's teaching and corporate relations teams. The aim was to take stock of the past 18 months, gather feedback on the various initiatives undertaken, and plan for new projects in the future.

PJE projects, ongoing initiatives, events, internships, and job openings...

The Chair in Industrial Management Training is highly valued by students and corporate partners, who see this group as offering excellent professional opportunities.

All partners were able to propose and supervise "PJE" projects for third-year Industrial Management students. This gave them an opportunity to study real-life cases and imagine themselves in professional situations, work on recommendations, and gradually step into the shoes of future engineers.

In parallel with these projects, each of the Chair's partner companies also gave lectures or presented case studies to Industrial Management students, as well as to students from other disciplines on campus as part of the core curriculum.

In addition, our teaching teams and partners have seen a significant increase in internship opportunities for our students, and even job offers. This approach and our close relationships with sponsors are one of the strengths and successes of this Training Chair.

Finally, from an events perspective, numerous meetings were organized and concentrated in the months of September to December during the school year, including visits to partner companies, which were very popular with our students, employer branding events, an alumni day, an internship sponsorship forum, etc. Also noteworthy was the strong mobilization of our sponsors at the Arts & Métiers Forum at the Parc Floral, organized at the end of 2022 by the Student Union. Other events are planned for the second semester, and individual steering committees will enable the implementation and realization of the many other ideas discussed during this joint review of the Training Chair.

Among the latest highlights was a week of Green Belt training and certification by our partner XL Groupe. Here you will find a summary article of this week of training and certification, as well as a testimonial from Etienne CHATAIGNON, a third-year student who took part in the training.
