On March 1, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Paris participated in the Tokyo Institute of Technology's "online global study program" event.

As part of its "global online study program," the Tokyo University of Technology wanted to involve Arts et Métiers this event. On Monday, March 1, the Paris campus attended this event, which brought together around twenty students and representatives from the Japanese university, as well as a few students and representatives from Chulalongkorn University (Thailand).

During this virtual meeting, they were able to discover Arts et Métiers, its history, its courses, the Paris campus, and the activities ofthe Student Union. They were also able to talk with French students about educational and social aspects, as well as everyday life as a French or Japanese student.

This meeting is part part of the established relationship between Arts et Métiers the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Before the pandemic, the Paris campus used to welcome a delegation from the Japanese university every year, and each year two Arts et Métiers students Arts et Métiers also selected to undertake international academic mobility at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. In recent years, some Arts et Métiers students Arts et Métiers also participated in the summer school organized by the Japanese university, and at the same time, Arts et Métiers welcomed two Japanese students into two of its research-oriented national master's programs research-oriented Master's degrees taught in English on the Paris campus.
