After earning a DUT in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in Lyon, Mame Binta N'DIAYE wanted to continue her studies while working. Arts et Métiers therefore the perfect school! She then applied to the the ENSEA entrance exam to apply for the Grande Ecole Engineering Programme Arts et Métiers as an apprentice. “I chose this program because it awards the same degree as the student track of theGrande Ecole Engineering Programme Arts et Métiers, while allowing me to gain three years of professional experience, which is a major asset for my future career.”

Gain professional experience  

Every other month, Mame Binta N'DIAYE is an apprentice mechatronics engineer at Schneider Electric. Schneider Electric. As part of a unit in Nice that designs and manufactures modules for distributing energy in businesses, Mame Binta's job is to design all the mechanical parts for these modules. "This position allows me to put what I've learned at school into practice. It's very rewarding and I'm gaining valuable skills!"

This apprenticeship program gives us the opportunity to wear two hats: we are students, because we participate in and are an integral part of the class—there is no distinction—but we are also employees in a company. Gaining experience and being financially independent are nothing but positives!
