In this episode, ParolesArts et Métiers Alban Chalengeas, a studentArts et Métiers explains how he combines his interest in engineering sciences with his passion for business and consulting. He also talks about his involvement as president of the AMJE (Arts et Métiers Entreprise) , introducing us to its world and projects. In May 2024, AMJE was named the best Junior Enterprise in France, and in early December 2024, it won two awards: the BNP Paribas Award for Best Committed Commercial Support and the EY Award for Best Commercial Approach.

Biography

Alban Chalengeas obtained a science baccalaureate—with a "European mention" in German—in Brussels, Belgium. After completing his preparatory classes, he enrolled at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille to follow the Grande Ecole programArts et Métiers CREDA (business creation and development). He ranked 76th out of 1,202 students at the end of his first year. In 2023, while studying for a Bachelor's degree in Applied Economics atParis Dauphine-PSL University, he completed an internship at Hermès as an assistant engineer and, during the summer of 2024, he completed an internship as a CRM Project Manager at Mantu, an international management consulting group.

Aban Chalengeas spent six months studying abroad at Texas A&M University in 2024 and discovered the world of consulting during his experience at AMJE, theArts et Métiers Junior Enterprise, where he served as vice-treasurer for one year between 2023 and 2024. He is currently in his third and final year at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Paris and, since June 2024, has been President of AMJE.
