BiographyÂ
Marc Lassagne is a senior lecturer at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Paris, where he has been teaching engineering students since 2005 as part of the Grande Ecole Program in areas such as strategic management, corporate social responsibility, organizational theory, supply chain management, and decision analysis.
A graduate of Sciences Po Paris (public service section) and Paris I-Panthéon Sorbonne University (economics section), he is also a former student of the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan, a winner of the agrégation in economics and management, and holds a doctorate in management sciences.
He is co-director, alongside Professor Frédéric Gautier of the IAE Paris, of the National Master's Degree program in Decision Sciences and Risk Management, and academic director of the Specialized Master's Degree in Risk Management, in which he also teaches.
He is a member of the Design, Manufacturing and Control Laboratory located on the Metz campus. His research focuses on industrial risk management, occupational health and safety, and more generally on the integration of uncertainty into management processes. In this context, he has worked with numerous companies and institutions, such as Bureau Veritas, EDF, Bouygues, Liebherr, JCDecaux, Kyu AssociĂ©s, CEA, and Crisotech.Â
He is currently developing, with Laurent Dehouck from the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Rennes, a project for an Arts et Métiers chair Arts et Métiers the Industry of the Future entitled "Global Risk and Crisis Management."
