Open Access Week is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. This global event allows the scientific community to learn more about the benefits of open access to research results, share knowledge and experiences with colleagues, and contribute to the promotion of open access.

Since 2012, Arts et Métiers an "open archive" called SAM, where researchers can deposit their publications. These deposits are validated by librarians, who perform quality control checks, including metadata validation and compliance with publishing rights.


That is why, during Open Access Week, the Arts et Métiers libraries are mobilizing and organizing several events. On the program: coffee discussions, presentation/demonstration of the open archive, films on open access, poster exhibition on the challenges of open access, explanations of the scientific publishing process, and more.


The Open Access Week website lists all events in France.


In addition, libraries are available throughout the year to anyone seeking information on promoting and making research work available, and on open access in general.
