Mohamed Haddad has just defended his thesis on the topic of "Development of a road tanker made from composite sandwich materials for hydrocleaning vehicles." Meet a doctor who is passionate about composite materials.

Mohamed Haddadwas born in 1989 in Monastir, Tunisia. After obtaining his high school diploma in 2008, he began his undergraduate engineering studies, DEUPC (Diploma of Undergraduate University Studies), and in 2010 joinedthe National Engineering School of Tunis (ENIT).

I developed a strong interest in innovation and R&D, which led me to pursue my doctoral studies.

After completing a general education in mechanical engineering, he specialized in composite materials science during his end-of-study internship atthe Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace in Toulouse. At the same time, he acquired skills in 3D design, digital simulation, and product lifecycle management (PLM). Driven by his passion, Mohamed then continued his studies with a doctorate at the LAMPAlaboratory on the Arts et métiers campus Arts et métiers . His thesis work was part of an FUI (Fonds Unique Interministériel) project called "SOLLICITERN." This collaborative project, led by the companyHydrovide, aims to develop a road tanker made of sandwich composite material for a hydrocleaning vehicle.

Now a doctor, he has just defended his thesis entitled "Development of a filament winding process suitable for sandwich composite materials and mechanical characterization of materials," the result of extensive research.

His four years of experience in the field of sandwich composite materials and his passion for materials mechanics and manufacturing processes have inspired him to pursue a career as a composite materials engineer. The common thread running through his career path is his desire to work with new materials and to continually discover new innovations.
