From engineer to dancer, it's just a short step!

Second-year engineering students from the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne took part in a dance competition organized by the French University Sports Federation (FFSU) as part of Olympic and Paralympic Week. 

Laurent Duclos, director of the Grand Est university sports league, with the support of Crous Reims, contacted our students to respond to the call for projects " Let's dance towards 2024." 

So, 15 students took dance classes (funded by the FFSU) every Tuesday at noon for about a month and a half before shooting a video called " Dream to Win ." 

Video synopsis: " A rugby fan with a disability comes to support his team during training. He receives the oval ball, and the energy of his support transforms the team into dancers. Thanks to this ball and his support, victory is assured." 

Students from INSPE (Institut National Supérieur du Professorat et de l'Éducation), the Universityof Reims Champagne-Ardenne, and Sciences Po Reims also participated in the filming. 

The aim of this initiative was to promote breakdancing, a new discipline at the 2024 Olympic Games, andto support Paralympic athletes
