The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne was approached by its sponsor, VINCI Energies France Nord Est, to manufacture some rather special handles!

Hand contact with objects is a source of viral contamination.
This is why the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Châlons-en-Champagne, at the request of its sponsor, VINCI Energies France Nord Est, has launched the production of elbow handles. The aim of these handles is to limit the spread of coronavirus.
They are produced using 3D printing with conventional PLA.

In Angers, at the request of Angers Loire Métropole, prototypes are being studied for use in nursing homes.

These handles will also be installed on campuses. Teams in Metz and Châlons are working on this project.
