Twenty students from the Metz campus are raising funds to participate inthe Oxfam Wintertrail, a 60km snowshoe hike organized bythe NGO Oxfam. Teams must complete the 60km in less than 30 hours, walking day and night.
The goal is to register two teams. In addition to the €2,000 base fee per team, which will be used to fund Oxfam's work in France and abroad (access to drinking water, support for countries affected by climate events, etc.), there are additional costs (transport, equipment, etc.). This means that students need to raise nearly €6,400.
To raise this amount, they are organizing various events: bake sales, a raffle, and sponsorship initiatives with companies. In order to continue their fundraising efforts, they are appealing for donations (which are tax deductible for individuals and businesses).

This year, the Wintertrail will take place on March 10 and 11, 2018, in the Abondance Valley in Haute-Savoie. This human and athletic challenge reflects the values of mutual aid and fraternity upheld by Arts et Métiers students. Last year, 22 students took part in the adventure.
