On January 16, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Paris welcomed members of the ConfluencES project for an in-depth tour ofEvolutive Learning Factory ELF).

ConfluencES, led by the CNAM and funded under the France 2030 PIA 4 program, supports the development of ELFs across allArts et Métiers campuses. This initiative aims to bring about lasting transformation in educational settings and to strengthen research on digital and energy transitions.

Assess the current state of the infrastructure

The visit to the Paris campus allowed ConfluencES members to assess the current state of the infrastructure and plan the changes needed to support upcoming educational and technological shifts. Similar visits will be organized at the project’s other partner institutions (Ensaplv, CESI, École Duperré, Cnam) to analyze and modernize their learning spaces. Mickaël Rivette, campus director, and Vincent Meyrueis, ELF liaison, presented the project’s objectives and the strategic priorities that will guide this transformation. Marie Brandewinder, director of the Paris Incubator and Innovation at Arts et Métiers, highlighted the many opportunities that ELF will offer to incubated companies, students, and researchers, particularly in terms of educational innovation and experimentation.

Identify the specific needs of the various disciplines

The tour, led by Xavier Bonnet, a professor and researcher at the Georges Charpak Institute of Human Biomechanics, provided an opportunity to identify the specific needs of various disciplines and the growing demands of technical and scientific programs. The goal is to adapt the spaces so that they become flexible, multi-purpose learning environments that incorporate the latest advancements in engineering and digital technology. Daniela Rodriguez, ConfluencES project manager at Arts et Métiers, answered the participants’ many questions, providing detailed insight into the project’s implementation and key milestones. Her expertise helped clarify how this initiative fits into a comprehensive approach to modernizing academic infrastructure and strengthening collaborations among various stakeholders in research and innovation.
