INNOVAM CHALLENGE: FACED WITH THE REALITIES OF THE INDUSTRIAL WORLD, STUDENTS PROPOSE INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS TO COMPANIES

During the Innov'AM challenge, students had one week to work on concrete business projects, for which they proposed innovative, creative, and technical solutions.

A win-win challenge that offers students the opportunity to spark their curiosity by discovering a variety of industrial and economic sectors.

STUDENTS SERVING BUSINESSES

Second-year students in the Grande Ecole Program (four-year engineering degree), supervised by our teachers and expert engineers, proposed new concepts, new ideas, and innovative solutions to topics proposed by companies (design, innovation, industrial organization, sustainable development, etc.).

Some figures:

  • 4 companies: Alter, Alstom, Redeem Medical, Crossway Technologies
  • 4 teams of 4 students per company
  • One full week dedicated to one topic per company
  • 10 reference teachers

Supervision provided by two advisors (teachers, teacher-researchers, engineers) and experts from the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers .
The student teams challenged themselves to submit four to five proposals and preliminary technical or organizational studies to companies.

VARIOUS TOPICS

  • Workstation ergonomics
  • Reuse of second-hand medical devices
  • Study of energy performance and passenger comfort in a tram
  • Greening city streets to combat heat islands
