On Friday, March 23, 2018, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille will participate in the first edition of the Video Mapping Festival organized by the Video Mapping European Center association.

A video mapping on the industry of the future

The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille is innovating and offering a video mapping on the theme of the industry of the future as part of Industry Week. Projected onto the campus's steam engine, this approximately 5-minute animation will be shown on a loop throughout the evening. The video animation will be produced in mid-March during a workshop bringing together animation students from across Europe.

This screening is part of the Video Mapping Festival organized by the Rencontres Audiovisuelles association. Around fifteen iconic locations in the city of Lille are opening their doors to explore the full range of mapping: monumental, immersive, interactive...  The opera house, the Ilôt Comtesse, the Canal Saint-Pierre, the Méert pastry shop, La Voix du Nord, Rue de Béthune, Place de la République, the Palais des Beaux-Arts, Sciences Po, the Natural History Museum, L'hybride, Porte de Paris, and Lille Flandres train station will all be offering different video mappings.
