The 7th edition of Industry Week will take place from March 20 to 26. As a founding member ofthe Alliance Industrie Du Futur (Industry of the Future Alliance) and a leading technology institution, Arts et Métiers its commitment to this nationwide event. It will be an opportunity to showcase its range of training courses and, more broadly, its research activities to students and the general public at all of its sites.
Created in 2011 on the initiative of the Directorate-General for Enterprise (DGE), Industry Week aims to change the way the general public, and young people in particular, view industry by offering a wide range of events throughout France. To reflect current industrial challenges, the 2017 edition will focus on issues related to sustainable development.
A busy schedule
As a leading technology institution, Arts et Métiers miss this annual event! With more than twenty events, Arts et Métiers the opportunity not only to show new generations of students what an engineering school is all about, but also to raise their awareness of the diversity of careers in industry, with a particular focus on promoting engineering careers to young women.
At the national level, three major projects will set the pace for the week:
- On Monday, March 20, Arts et Métiers the results of its study "Young People and Industry," conducted in partnership with OpinionWay for the fifth consecutive year. This study aims to understand and analyze how high school students in science and technology programs perceive industry.
- The opening of the exhibition "Technology, feminine noun"
- The closing ceremony for "CrAMfunding, the entrepreneurial challenge" on Thursday, March 23, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (by invitation only).
