In seven years, the incubator Arts et Métiers, the prestigious engineering school, has helped 100 business projects get off the ground, with one guiding principle: inventing the world of tomorrow.

And the 100th is... The K-Ryole of tomorrow

The start-up K-Ryole is the lucky winner of this 100th edition. A fine example of technology that improves everyday life, K-Ryole had the brilliant idea of designing an electric, self-propelled trailer capable of transporting up to 250 kg by bicycle, all without effort.

K-Ryole has just won the Futur en Seine Jury Prize and is one of the 12 finalists in the EDF Pulse competition.

A technology incubator

Product-oriented, the Arts et Métiers incubator stands out for its commitment to developing innovative technological projects that serve society and industry.

Its strength lies in its technological assets and network of experts. Start-ups benefit from personalized support from idea to creation. Development, design, and prototype feasibility testing are made possible through access to a prototyping center and four research laboratories on the Paris campus, which also extends to the network of laboratories across allArts et Métiers campuses .

"Access to technology labs and workshops allows us to refine our prototypes before moving on to industrial production,"says Nicolas Duvaut, founder of K-Ryole.

The Arts et Métiers incubator Arts et Métiers among its success stories: Alegory with its removable heel shoe, the exoskeleton developed by Wandercraft, and CIME Industries with its thermoplastic-reinforced wood.

Arts et Métiers, accelerator of innovative talent

Arts et Métiers the only school with such a comprehensive program in the field ofentrepreneurship.
The entrepreneurial spirit is encouraged from the third year onwards. Engineering students can opt for expertise in
"business creation."
Then, open to all young graduates, student-entrepreneur status is possible thanks to the pre-incubator that opened at the start of the 2016 academic year.

The incubator, future hub for technological convergence

Arts et Métiers a major project at the start of the academic year: the creation of a technology hub that can accommodate 50 start-ups.
Co-working spaces,
multidisciplinary teams, and high-level technological equipment, the "Halle Ter" project highlights the school's innovative potential.

Researchers from laboratories, start-ups, and students will have a dedicated space to undertake, innovate, and design the world of tomorrow.

Development project scheduled for September 2017 to December 2019.
