The two types of AI: generative and industrial
- Generative AI: This is the branch of AI that focuses on creating models capable of generating new data. In the institution, this AI is embodied by the deployment of Copilot.
- Industrial or predictive AI: the digitization of industrial systems makes it possible to delegate part of human intelligence to machines in order to increase the efficiency of industrial systems. The delegated intelligence is learning intelligence based on the analysis of data provided to the AI, requiring data processing capabilities.
Industrial AI is the subject of numerous research projects at the institution. The results of this research are gradually being integrated into ELFs for use in training and offered to manufacturers.
