Created in 1935, the Grand Gala has always been an important event in the life of the school, the city, and the students.

Once again this year, the students in 1res and 2es years have gone above and beyond to welcome 4,500 guests to the Abbey.

Organized mainly by the students, they are responsible for the logistical, creative, and technical aspects of the event. From communication to financing to decor, the students are putting all their skills to work on this project, which has been awarded the "Young Talent of Saône-et-Loire" award by the JSL.

To pay tribute to Cluny's expertise, each year the students create a new room by working with wood and metal to showcase the commitment of each graduating class. The students also use the school's laboratories to make the ashtrays for each edition, known as "traps." More than just a project, each student contributes to the event in their own way.

The theme of the 2024 Grand Gala is "Surpassing Oneself." It is inspired by the Paris Olympic Games. Gymnasts and musicians will therefore be honored at this87th edition. Come discover the Abbey as you've never seen it before on June1, 2024!
