The École Arts et MĂ©tiers the SociĂ©tĂ© des IngĂ©nieurs Arts et MĂ©tiers jointly set up the Arts & MĂ©tiers Think Tank in 2018, which serves as a forum for reflection on engineering, technology, and industry, while also contributing to the implementation of the École Arts et MĂ©tiers strategic priorities Arts et MĂ©tiers these areas. We asked two of its contributors, StĂ©phane Lapujoulade and Emmanuel Richaud, to talk to us in this episode about a subject they have both worked on: the relationship between younger generations and technology, and the École Arts et MĂ©tiers involvement Arts et MĂ©tiers this issue.Â
An Arts et Métiers engineer Arts et Métiers Li 182) and graduate of Sciences-Po Paris, Stéphane Lapujoulade is an independent consultant in Strategy, Innovation, and Management. He was one of the senior executives of the TRANSDEV group in the public transport sector.
With over twenty years' experience as a strategy and transformation consultant, notably at CAPGEMINI CONSULTING, he teaches strategy and innovation management at Sciences Po (EMI). Stéphane Lapujoulade is the secretary of the Arts & Métiers Think Tank.
Trained as a chemical engineer, Emmanuel Richaud quickly turned to academic research. Following his thesis, he joined Arts et Métiers an engineer at AMVALOR, the research commercialization subsidiary ofArts et Métiers A lecturer in 2009 and then a university professor in 2016, he works in the field of studying the degradation and lifespan of polymers and composites at the Laboratory of Processes and Engineering in Mechanics and Materials (PIMM).
Emmanuel Richaud is also responsible at Arts et Métiers Cordées de la réussite (Success Teams) program, in particular the "Ambition Sciences ParisTech – ENCPB" team, created with AgroParisTech, Chimie ParisTech – PSL, and ESPCI Paris - PSL, on the initiative of the Pierre-Gilles de Gennes – ENCPB high school.
