Combining an interesting internship with la dolce vita is possible!
This is the choice made by Hamadi, a third-year student at the Bordeaux campus, who completed his internship at the Polytechnic University of Milan.
Hamadi Erremli is a third-year student at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Bordeaux, pursuing a dual degree with the Ecole Nationale de l’Aviation Civile (National School of Civil Aviation). He completed his second-year internship at Politecnico di Milano (Milan Polytechnic University) in the Energy Department.
Hamadi was determined to find an internship abroad, so he sent his applications to several universities and ended up being accepted by three of them. He then chose to leave Bordeaux for Milan for a period of three months.
Hamadi chose to go to Milan primarily for the opportunity that his internship represented, but also because he wanted to discover Italy through its landscapes and rich history. As a soccer fan, he particularly enjoyed the atmosphere of Italian matches.
Upon arriving in Milan, he was assigned to the Energy Department and found himself in an open-plan office shared with interns and doctoral students working on their master's theses: "The atmosphere was a perfect blend of work and conviviality."
This experience, rich in encounters and learning opportunities, allowed Hamadi to step outside his comfort zone and build up a valuable network of contacts for the years to come.
INTERNSHIP TOPIC: Developer to program a human-machine interface (HMI) for viewing engine simulation data.
