Engineers Without Borders
Being an engineer also means leading international projects and working in a multicultural environment. Arts et Métiers all students the opportunity to gain this experience during their studies. Mobility, ranging from two months to two years, takes the form of an internship or academic exchange.
More than 170 foreign institutions and universities around the world have signed agreements with Arts et Métiers. Two types of stays are available.
Dual degree study abroad programs
The length of the stay varies, depending on the university programs, from two to four semesters. Most courses involve extending the initial length of study (by one to two semesters). This experience allows engineering students to receive, at the end of their training, the Arts et Métiers diploma Arts et Métiers the diploma corresponding to the studies completed at the host university.
There are three dual-degree programs available: integrated dual engineering degree programs, Master of Science programs, and dual Master's programs.

Masters of Science
These courses are equivalent to the third year of engineering studies. Students obtain an Arts et Métiers engineering degree Arts et Métiers a Master of Science from the partner school or institution. Several universities in Australia, the United States, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom are involved in this program.
The double master's degree
The school offers a dual master's degree program between France and Sweden:
With the Royal Institute of Technology(Stockholm): the first two years at Arts et Métiers, the third year at the Royal Institute of Technology, and the fourth year in the Knowledge Integration in Mechanical Production research master's program at Arts et Métiers.
A Franco-German program on the Metz campus
Candidates must indicate their interest in applying for this dual degree when registering for the oral exams. Candidates will take a specific oral exam at the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Paris during the oral exams. In addition to the candidate's academic evaluation, motivation will be an important selection criterion.
