Why join us?

A school committed to respecting people and their environment

Joining Arts et Métiers means participating in the training of future engineers and technicians who will build the world of tomorrow.
The institution defines itself as " a socio-economic player serving the regions and the industry of the future ," and is increasingly incorporating the concepts of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility into its training programs and research activities. This is evidenced by numerous projects carried out in our laboratories: Inédit, which is developing a new ecosystem of open innovation and open manufacturing (more information); EPITHER, which aims to reduce greenhouse gases (more information), and more.

A school on the move

Joining Arts et Métiers also means becoming part of an institution that is resolutely focused on the future.
The school's long history and strong roots in technology and the local community have not prevented it from constantly reinventing itself.
Today, the school is pursuing a strategic and structuring project, the Evolutive Learning Factories, which aims to establish factories of the future on each campus. All staff are invited to get involved in this project.
Arts et Métiers its processes, organization, and skills to the new possibilities offered by digital technology. Digitalization is at the heart of our administrative procedures, and communication and collaboration tools are widely used by all staff and students.

A school that invests in its staff

Joining Arts et Métiers means joining an institution that is committed to supporting its staff in their professional development and helping them to develop their expertise. A dynamic HR department that knows how to question itself and adapt immediately has enabled the development of numerous projects for its staff within the institution. Annual reviews, which have been paperless for several years, make it possible to identify skills development needs. Each year, more than 1,200 days of training are provided, including individualized training programs.
Well-being at work is also a priority for the school, with the "Shared Vision" project, which implements numerous actions proposed by the staff themselves (corporate social network, email charter, social barometer to combat psychosocial risks, etc.).
