Are you interested in welding, additive manufacturing, and non-destructive testing? The Metz campus is a partner of the ICWAM conference , which will be held from May 17 to 19,2017, at the Arsenal in Metz. Faculty members from the campus will be present at this event to showcase the expertise of the institution's laboratories to the public.

ICWAM (International Congress on Welding, Additive Manufacturing) is aimed at all professionals in the fields of welding, prototyping, 3D printing, additive manufacturing, and non-destructive testing, whether they are researchers or industrialists. 400 industrialists and specialists recognized worldwide in their fields are expected to attend the event.

The three-day program includes plenary sessions, technical and scientific presentations (oral communications), demonstrations and industrial exhibitions, collaborative workshops, and more. An exhibition area will also allow manufacturers to showcase their products, services, and technologies.

The program is designed to facilitate dialogue between academic researchers and industry representatives in order to bring research closer to the industrial world and develop innovations that are useful to industrial customers.

This conference is co-organized by Centrale Nantes and the Institut de Soudure Group.
