The Mobility Challenge is an initiative of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, in partnership withADEME, which takes place in the 12 departments that make up the region. Since 2011, the Challenge has been inviting institutions to organize an internal, one-day collective challenge on the theme of mobility.

The Chambéry institute is participating in 2017!

The challenge is simple: staff members and students are asked to try for one day (or longer if they wish) to travel using means of transport that have less impact on the environment than those they usually use.

At the end of the day, participants will be invited to gather for refreshments and discuss the great adventure of sustainable transportation.

Each participant will have to explain to the two institute representatives how their journey today differed from their usual commute. The more different modes of transport the institute records, the more points it will accumulate to compete in the regional challenge.

The Mobility Challenge is based on a voluntary approach, with no obligation to participate.
