On Saturday, May 25, 135 Arts et Métiers engineering graduates Arts et Métiers will receive their diplomas on the Metz campus. This event marks the end of their studies for these young engineers.

Graduates and medalists: excellence rewarded

The graduation ceremony takes place on the Metz campus, in the Grand Amphi. This is a symbolic location, as it was in the Grand Amphi that these same students were welcomed when they arrived in their first year.

This time, each of them will take to the stage to receive their diploma in person. Graduates in the top 10% (out of 1,118 Arts et Métiers graduates) will receive a medal! This year, 18 graduates in Metz will receive this honor.

And on the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz, graduates who achieved the highest scores in English, German, and French as a foreign language language tests will receive an additional gift.

Mobile students attached to their home campus

Arts et Métiers more than 1,100 general engineering students each year. During their studies, students experience a high degree of regional and international mobility, as they cannot remain on the same campus for three consecutive years. This opportunity is fueled by the many courses offered in the third year in France or abroad.

International mobility is also mandatory in order to validate the general engineering degree. Many students at the Metz campus have validated this mobility by obtaining a Franco-German double degree after spending nearly 18 months in Germany.

Despite this student mobility, students receive their degrees from the campus they joined in their first year, not the last one they attended. This choice can be explained by the attachment that general engineering students have to their original campus!
