Hitachi Rail France and the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz sign a partnership agreement to support young talent

At the BE 5.0 Industries du Futur trade show, held on November 25 and 26 in Mulhouse, Hitachi Rail France and the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Metz announced the signing of a five-year (renewable) partnership agreement aimed at strengthening links between academia and industry.

Launch of the A2ForBois project: the forestry and wood industry mobilizes for its future

On November 6, Arts et Métiers, alongside the 16 partner members of the consortium, presented the A2ForBois (Avenir Formation Forêt-Bois) project, which aims to transform training in forestry and woodworking professions in a sustainable way and respond to the major challenges facing the sector. Winner of France 2030's "Skills and Professions of the Future" call for projects, A2ForBois has been awarded €21.3 million in funding, including €12 million in support through the France 2030 investment plan operated by the Banque des Territoires, for a period of five years.

Arts et Métiers its Dax branch Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology - Industrial Streams

Supported by Grand Dax Agglomération, the Dax branch of Arts et Métiers inaugurated on November 3 in the presence of Mr. Julien DUBOIS, president of Grand Dax and mayor of Dax. This new branch, run by the Arts et Métiers Campus Arts et Métiers Bordeaux-Talence, has been offering a new Bachelor's degree in Science and Technology "Industrial Sectors" since the start of the 2025 academic year, designed to train young people close to their homes in the challenges of the industry of the future.

Renewal of the partnership between Arts et Métiers the Naval Academy

Arts et Métiers, a prestigious engineering school under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education, and the Naval Academy, which trains naval engineering officers under the supervision of the Ministry of the Armed Forces, have renewed their strategic partnership, initiated in 1999, through a framework agreement signed in January 2025. They will convene the research council of the Institut de Recherche et d'Études Navales (IRENAV), which they jointly oversee, on November 5, 2025.

Inauguration of the new technology hall on the Angers campus

On October 10, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers inaugurated its new 1,200m² technology hall, dedicated to sustainability and materials characterization. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for students, researchers, and industry professionals, it opens up new prospects for research and innovation in the region.
