Thanks to the Transfer and Innovation Workshops (ATI), companies in the Grand Est region have access to the expertise of all the region's training centers (engineering, management, architecture, fine arts, IUT, and UFR schools) to support them in developing innovative solutions.
Supporting businesses in the Grand Est region with innovation
The implementation of an ATI is based on an issue raised by a start-up, micro-enterprise, SME, or mid-sized company based in the Grand Est region.
Acquiring a new market, upgrading processes, developing a new product, etc. ITAs mainly serve to remove technical obstacles and/or economic doubts about planned changes within a company.
Depending on the issue at hand, the dedicated project team will work on: a feasibility study, market research, specifications, a mock-up, a prototype, user tests, etc.
All relevant sectors of activity
The fields covered span a wide range of sectors: agronomy, the food industry, materials, mechanics, electricity, geology, systems engineering, the wood industry, chemical engineering, management, process engineering, industrial engineering, business strategy, IT, information engineering, marketing, business plans, etc.
A multidisciplinary team dedicated to the project for one year
Once the company has defined the problem, a multidisciplinary project team is set up. It always consists of company employees and students from two higher education institutions, supervised by their expert teachers.
All companies, from start-ups to mid-sized companies, and all higher education institutions located in the Grand Est region can participate in the ATI.
The projects run from September to June and, in addition to this support, are monitored by the team dedicated to coordinating Transfer and Innovation Workshops.
Contacts
Companies and higher education institutions in the Grand Est region can contact their regional representative at any time during the year to express their interest in taking part in the Transfer and Innovation Workshops.
