Signing of a framework agreement between Arts et Métiers France Éducation International

Pierre-François Mourier, Director General of France Éducation International, and Laurent Champaney, Director General ofArts et Métiers, signed a framework partnership agreement on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.

Through this framework partnership agreement,France Éducation International and Arts et Métiers decided to enter into a strategic partnership to promote their mutual expertise and increase their effectiveness in terms of openness and intervention in Europe and internationally within the scope of their respective missions.

Through this partnership, the parties will work in particular to:

  • The exchange of information and best practices;
  • Documentary engineering in the areas of educational transition, training, employment, the impact of technological change on guidance systems, and lifelong education and training.
  • Participation in activities organized at the initiative of one of the parties;
  • Welcoming foreign delegations on study visits at the initiative of one of the parties.

The two institutions will collaborate more specifically on educational engineering and international technical assistance projects, as well as on topics related to education and digital technology.

France Education International , the new name of the International Center for Educational Studies (CIEP), is the key operator for international educational cooperation for the Ministry of National Education and Youth. The latter intends to make educational and linguistic cooperation a key focus of France's international policy. The aim is to place education at the heart of public action in the field of development. The contract of objectives and performance adopted by France Éducation International for the period 2019-2022aims to support this ambition.
