Siemens and Arts et Métiers a strategic partnership aimed at accelerating the adoption of industrial digital technologies, strengthening the competitiveness of businesses, and training engineers capable of designing, managing, and transforming 21st-century industrial systems.

At VivaTech, Siemens and Arts et Métiers a major partnership aimed at students, startups, and companies to accelerate the adoption and dissemination of industrial digital technologies. 
The partnership calls for the creation of a Smart Manufacturing Hub in the heart of Paris, a showcase for Siemens’ latest innovations in industrial AI, operations software, automation, buildings, and electrification, deployed in a real production environment.
It also brings together the Arts et Métiers incubator Arts et Métiers the Evolutive Learning Factories to support deep-tech industrial startups and strengthen the pursuit of excellence in research.

This partnership brings together the efforts of both organizations to strengthen an innovation ecosystem that unites academic researchers, industrial partners, SMEs, startups, and public sector stakeholders. As part of this initiative, Siemens and Arts et Métiers to train the engineers of the industry of the future, industrialize the use of artificial intelligence in critical systems, accelerate the deployment of digital industrial technologies, and support the development and international expansion of deep tech startups.

Beyond our training and incubation mission, companies of all sizes will be able to explore how digital solutions and AI can help them enhance their competitiveness.”

Transforming Skills and Training Models

Siemens will support theEvolutive Learning Factories ELF) project—a true "school-factory" initiative led by Arts et Métiers—to train students, startups, and professionals in realistic, industrial-scale educational production workshops that are highly digitized.

A key element of the partnership, the creation of a Smart Manufacturing Hub on theArts et Métiers campus in ParisArts et Métiers an immersive platform for demonstrating, experimenting with, and adopting digital industrial technologies. In a real-world production environment, this hub will showcase the latest innovations in industrial AI, automation, building solutions, and electrification. The Hub will be open to any company interested in exploring the world of the industry of the future.

Accelerating the Development of Industrial Startups

The partnership will draw on the Arts et Métiers incubator—a major player in the French ecosystem—to support high-potential industrial startups by providing access to expertise, infrastructure, and market opportunities. The collaboration will include:

• the joint development and implementation of operational support services for startups (e.g., prototyping their solutions within the Hub);
• Easier access to the Siemens Group’s technological capabilities, expertise, and specialists;
• The identification of concrete pilot projects;
• The growth of the Arts et Métiers incubator through increased visibility for startups.

This collaboration is also part of the “Siemens for Startups” program, Siemens’ global initiative dedicated to supporting startups, which is built around three pillars: Connect, Collaborate, and Empower. This program provides startups with access to cutting-edge industrial technologies, the expertise of Siemens teams, opportunities for pilot projects, and the Siemens Xcelerator Marketplace platform.

This program has also been strengthened by the launch of three software collections specifically designed for startups, with the aim of making Siemens’ industrial software more accessible to young European companies. These offerings are tailored to the budget constraints and development timelines of startups, while being able to scale as their businesses grow.
Strengthening Research and Technological Excellence
The collaboration also aims to work on joint research projects in key areas: the digitalization of industrial systems, the energy transition and decarbonization, industrial artificial intelligence, as well as advanced robotics and automation.

This partnership reaffirms the shared commitment of Siemens andArts et Métiers building an industrial ecosystem that promotes competitiveness in France and Europe.
