Presentation of the 1G4.0 system, a single portal to address the 4.0 challenges faced by manufacturers!

On Tuesday, September 8, the presentation evening for the 1G4.0 program took place at the Mess des Entrepreneurs in Châlons-en-Champagne.

This event was initially an opportunity to present the experiences already undertaken by companies and schools, such as the project undertaken by Arts et Métiers  Improving the marketing of exceptional staircases.
The solution to this problem was to integrate Virtual Reality (VR) into the marketing and design process. An educational project was therefore developed with a group of students supervised by Arts et Métiers teachers.

This enabled them to carry out several activities:

  • Assistance in choosing adefinitiveVR solutionnecessary for the evolution of the company's showroom.
  • Scripting and integration into CAD of sculptures for an exceptional staircase and implementation in a VR environment.
  • Assistance in selecting a service provider for a VR demonstration at a trade show, necessary for the visual representation ofexceptional staircase designs.

Then, in a second phase, to promote the scheme to companies in all sectors, such as:

  • Engineeringand project management for buildings,
  • Equipment for the building, heating, and ventilation industries,
  • Others.

Two companies from the last two areas mentioned above are already very interested in benefiting from this unique portal!

This promises to be a great collaboration between manufacturers and 1G4.0 schools on increasingly digital topics!
