On March 7, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers held its first graduation ceremony, separate from any other event on campus. A milestone event for the entireArts et Métiers communityArts et Métiers
This new format proved to be a success, as nearly 400 people—including students, families, friends, distinguished guests, members ofArts et Métiers Association, staff, and students—were on hand to celebrate the graduation ceremony for the main classes of 2015 and 2016 of the Grande Ecole Engineering Programme Arts et Métiers and, for the first time, the Bachelor of Technology program.
Graduation is the culmination of the commitment, support, and hard work of our students, staff, families, alumni, and all of our industry partners and local authorities. In this sense, it is a unique event for our school, explains Jean Quessada, director of the Angers campus.
Positive feedback... a formula worth repeating!
The conclusion is clear. Following numerous positive comments from graduates, parents, students, alumni, and staff, this celebration was a real success, both in terms of the number of participants and the format and spirit of the event, which was both ceremonial, with the presentation of a purple sash, the colorArts et Métiers, and convivial.
This successful event was also made possible thanks to the support of our partners Hitachi Automotive, Terrena, Arts et Métiers , who also wanted to give graduates a small notebook as a gift, and thanks to the collective working group that brought together staff, students, and alumni. This formula will be repeated next year. See you in April 2021 at the Angers Convention Center!
