The aim of this exhibition of 18 photographic portraits is to highlight the careers of young female engineers in order to demystify the industry and inspire others to follow in their footsteps.
Encouraging girls to pursue promising careers
With an average of 28% of women enrolled in engineering programs, women remain underrepresented in scientific and technical careers. As a leading technology school, Arts et Métiers therefore committed to making the promotion of science and technology among young women a priority.
Supported by theÉgalité Mixité Foundationand theElles bougent association, theTechnologie nom fémininexhibition aims to highlight the careers of passionate female engineers in order to break down stereotypes and inspire others to follow in their footsteps. Each of the 18 portraits on display serves as a reminder that women have a place in the industrial world. From robotics to cosmetics, biomechanics, aeronautics, and virtual reality, these young women illustrate the diversity of professions and sectors open to allArts et Métiers graduates.
Organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the exhibition was inaugurated by Christophe Sirugue, Secretary of State for Industry, Digital Technology, and Innovation. (c) Marion Gambin
