Arts et Métiers the official launch of the European CIRCUIT4EU project. Over the course of two days, the consortium partners met to lay the groundwork for their collaboration.
On June 10 and 11, Arts et Métiers the kick-off meeting for the European CIRCUIT4EU project, bringing together the 17 consortium partners for two days of discussions and work.
This first meeting was a crucial step in launching the project. It gave each partner the opportunity to present its organization, its expertise, and its role within the consortium. These discussions fostered a better understanding of each partner’s capabilities and laid the groundwork for close collaboration over the next three years.
A European consortium with complementary areas of expertise
Coordinated by Arts et Métiers, the CIRCUIT4EU consortium brings together 17 partners from academia, research, industry, and specialized organizations:

The consortium also draws on several affiliated entities and international partners, particularly in Colombia and Nigeria, to strengthen the project’s international scope and the sharing of best practices.
A Shared Roadmap
Over the course of these two days, the partners reviewed the project’s various work packages and the associated tasks. The goal was to establish a shared vision of the activities to be carried out, clarify each party’s responsibilities, and ensure that the entire consortium had a common understanding of the objectives and the work schedule.
This first meeting marks the start of a 42-month collaboration, during which the partners will work together to implement the various activities planned as part of the project.
Contributing to a more efficient circular economy
The CIRCUIT4EU project aims to develop innovative solutions to improve the reuse, remanufacturing, and recycling of critical raw materials contained in waste electrical and electronic equipment.
By bringing together partners with complementary expertise, the consortium aims to contribute to the development of a more circular economy and enhance the utilization of these strategic resources at the European level.
The work initiated at this kickoff meeting thus marks the beginning of a new phase of collaboration and serves as the starting point for the activities that will be carried out throughout the project.
