Schneider Electric Mâcon signed a new partnership agreement with the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny on Friday, March 20, 2026, at its Mâcon site, near Cluny.

“It was only natural for me to ensure that Schneider Electric Mâcon strengthened its commitment to training and industrial excellence by formalizing a sponsorship partnership with the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny,” explains Eric Lagrange, director of Schneider Electric Mâcon. “This collaboration is part of a shared vision: to bridge the gap between higher education and industry, so that together we can develop the skills that the factories of the future will need. And we are currently in the process of designing that very factory of the future.”

By supporting the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny, Schneider Electric aims to:

  • strengthen the links between academic education and professional life;
  • support an institution recognized for the quality of its engineering programs;
  • promote the local industrial appeal;
  • promote the integration of young talent into the jobs of the future.

“Located in the heart of the region, our Schneider Electric site in Mâcon has long maintained a relationship of trust with local educational institutions. The decision to support Arts et Métiers particularly its Cluny campus, is a natural extension of this dynamic,” continues Eric Lagrange. “This geographical and personal proximity allows us to create a direct link between the practical needs of the field and the training of future engineers. ”

In addition, Schneider Electric teams plan to collaborate with the LAB LEAN team—an ELF project on the campus led by Laurent Joblot, a professor and researcher at LISPEN—on topics related to Industry 4.0 and the use of AI in industry.
