Arts et Métiers the French Ambassador to Portugal to its Lille campus!

On Monday, February 16, the Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Lille had the honor of welcoming Her Excellency Hélène Farnaud-Defromont, French Ambassador to Portugal, accompanied by François-Xavier Reymond, Diplomatic Advisor to the Regional Prefect, and Bruno Cavaco, Honorary Consul of Portugal in Lille.

This visit, part of the "Empreintes" program to promote academic and scientific cooperation between the two countries, highlighted the historic collaboration between Arts et Métiers the University of Coimbra, a partnership that promotes student and scientific mobility between the two institutions every year.

To this end, a roadmap for collaboration, focusing on research activities in industrial management and advanced robotics, was presented and handed over to the delegation.

This meeting was also an opportunity to highlight the careers of two Portuguese students welcomed to our campus at the LISPEN laboratory: Anna Sophia Gonçalves, a doctoral student, and Lara Pinto, who is completing her end-of-studies internship.

The teams warmly thank Her Excellency the Ambassador and the entire delegation for these constructive discussions, which have enabled both institutions to reaffirm their commitment to continuing their collaboration in the fields of research and training.
