Arts et Métiers the honor Arts et Métiers welcoming a high-level delegation from Texas A&M University, led by its dean, Dr. Robert Bishop, marking a major step forward in strengthening the AM² strategic alliance between the two institutions in the fields of education, research, innovation, and now space.

📍 Highlights of the visit:
• Tours of the Aix-en-Provence and Paris campuses
• Discovery of five laboratories of excellence: MSMP, LISPEN, LCPI, LIFSE, and the Georges Charpak Institute of Human Biomechanics
• Meetings with 30 engineering students from Texas A&M currently studying on the Aix campus as part of academic exchange programs (study abroad program and NSF research internships). All expressed their enthusiasm for the welcome, the culture, and... French cuisine!

🤝 Strengthening industrial ties:
A key event of the week was the visit to TEAM Henri-Fabre.
Discussions focused on strengthening synergies between the industrial and innovative ecosystems of Texas and southern France.

🎓 Diplomatic and strategic meetings:
A dinner in Aix-en-Provence provided an opportunity to discuss Franco-American cooperation on AM², in the presence of the U.S. Consulate in Marseille.

In Paris, an official dinner hosted by Laurent Champaney, Director GeneralArts et Métiers, brought together the management of the Acting Administrator of NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration), the Consulate General of France in Houston, Fulbright France, and the French Embassy in the United States.

🌍 The visit ended with an appearance at the VivaTech 2025 trade show, with a clear objective: to make the AM² alliance and the future France-Texas Space Hub a catalyst for transatlantic collaboration in the aerospace, advanced manufacturing, and digital innovation sectors.

📅 The next major event is French-American Innovation Day, to be held in Texas this November, which will bring together researchersArts et Métiers Texas A&M, as well as industry leaders from both sides of the Atlantic, to work together to advance the major scientific and technological priorities of tomorrow.

🚀 The future of AM² looks very promising: a Franco-American alliance to accelerate industrial innovation and tackle tomorrow's challenges together.
