The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers will open its doors to schoolchildrenon Thursday, November 13, 2025.

The two activities offered by engineering students will allow high school students to discover careers in energy and inspire young women to pursue careers in technology and industry.

The activities are organized for an entire class.

High school students will be divided into four small groups and will be able to participate in two activities in one hour.

One accompanying adult (teacher or parent) should be present per group during the activities.

On the agenda

  • The exhibition "Technology: feminine noun"
Demystifying and inspiring young girls to pursue careers in technology and industry, breaking stereotypes and helping young girls to pursue studies in science and technology.

The aim of this exhibition is to highlight, through portraits in photos and words, the careers of 18 young female engineers in order to demystify the fields of technology and industry and inspire vocations.
On the initiative of alumni andArts et Métiers, a prestigious technology school, photographer Marion Gambin was asked to meet students passionate about technology, young women who dream of robots and a sustainable world, and female engineers who are now at the heart of the industry of the future.

Each of the 18 portraits presented in the exhibition reminds us that women have their place in the industrial world. From robotics to cosmetics and biomechanics, these young women illustrate the diversity of professions and sectors of activity available to engineers.

The energy transition is a major current project. It involves a wide range of careers, some traditional, but also many new careers that are driving innovation.
Through games, we first revisit energies, their production, their consumption, and their orders of magnitude, particularly in the field of electrical energy.
This is an opportunity to discover the diversity and richness of careers in the energy sector.

This activity allows an entire class, both girls and boys, to think about their future career paths. They will be guided in their reflections by students from the campus.
