On Thursday, October 19, all Arts et Métiers campuses Arts et Métiers an evening event dedicated to presenting the Evolutive Learning Factories ELF) to launch the fundraising campaign.

With the ELF program, Arts et Métiers a real factory-school to train students for responsible industry! The program consists of developing 4.0 educational platforms such as digital twins and connected assembly lines, using immersive and interactive technologies.
The school will thus be able to provide teaching that combines theory and practice on industrial systems, while training students in societal expectations regarding energy and the environment.
On October 19, more than 500 participants attended to discover the various technology platforms at the Arts et Métiers campuses. They took part in demonstration workshops presenting industrial equipment, development needs, and training objectives in a concrete way.

Platforms specific to each campus

Each campus presented its ELF ambition around platforms and associated digital twins based on its expertise and regional ecosystem:

  • Angers: towards product life cycles
  • Aix-en-Provence: towards agile and rapid prototyping line 4.0
  • Bordeaux: moving towards sustainable, human-centered technologies
  • Châlons-en-Champagne: moving toward high-performance, smart production
  • Cluny: towards the connected factory
  • Lille: moving towards process automation
  • Metz: moving towards process digitization
  • Paris: Towards Sustainable Health Engineering

What now?

Following the event on October 19, donations have already been made via the foundation's platform.
The fundraising agency Hopening is now working with the Arts et Métiers teams Arts et Métiers develop a fundraising strategy:

  • First, the establishment will contact those who attended the launch party to gather feedback.
  • Secondly, those who registered but were absent from the launch event will be contacted again to offer them a meeting and a tour of the campus concerned.

Hopening is keen to identify major donors so that they can be contacted as a priority.
