All industrial sectors are affected by design processes and methodologies. This is a particularly significant issue in certain activities: mechanical engineering, information systems, and data exploitation.
The RNC Design and Innovation Sciences focuses on all the tools, representations, and methodologies associated with this theme. Its objective is to establish models of activities, processes, and knowledge (involved in multidisciplinary projects). It also aims to identify and propose intermediate representations in order to integrate heterogeneous points of view in collaborative contexts. Several emerging themes will be addressed by the RNC, such as digital engineering and innovation management.
Currently, 17 researchers and engineers are associated with the network. They come from six laboratories: DynFluid, I2M, LAMPA, LCPI, LCFC, and LISPEN.
