Every September, Arts et Métiers a series of events dedicated to entrepreneurship and technological innovation.

  • 2 webinars per day with REX and use cases  

Speakers will host remote webinars on topics such as innovation, start-ups, research, and intrapreneurship. Guests will share their experiences of setting up innovative businesses or companies (e.g., 3D Natives, Biogeny, Poietis, and Bone3D).Arts et Métiers alumni and business angelsArts et Métiers also share their experiences.

  • 1 Online Open Innovation Challenge: "Innovate and Be an Entrepreneur"

This national challenge is organized in collaboration with Agorize. It is open to first- and second-year students and will result in the selection of winning teams, who will receive a prize worth between €500 and €1,000.

Monday, September 20: WHAT IS INNOVATION

  • 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.: "Innovation...what are we talking about?"

Technology plays a major role in innovation, but invention is nothing without entrepreneurial spirit... So what exactly are we talking about?

  • 5:00-6:30 p.m.: "Patents, Intellectual Property & Cross Innovation...what are their uses?"

How can you effectively explore all patents related to your innovation project, across different sectors, and thus develop original technological solutions?

Tuesday, September 21: WHAT IS A STARTUP? 

  • 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.: "What is a start-up?" 

 Webinar 3 hosted by Louis Ickx

A start-up is a young, innovative company that stands out for its high growth potential and its desire to establish a unique product on the market. But what does this mean in reality?  

  • 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: "Starting a business and developing innovative products... how to do it?"

Webinar 4 hosted by Louis Ickx

Starting a business or innovating requires a specific methodology (marketing, technical, legal, financial engineering, etc.), which will be presented to you with examples. This will enable you to identify the additional skills you need to acquire through training programs such as the Entrepreneurship and Technological Innovation Course (PEIT), an option available atArts et Métiers the second year of the PGE program.

Wednesday, September 22: RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY STARTUPS...WHAT ARE THE CONNECTIONS? 

  • 12:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.: "Alliance Start’up Industrie Arts et Métiers Station F" initiative

We will introduce you to the Arts et métiers ecosystem and the opportunities for support and funding for your projects that arise from it within the school and through the foundation's entities and regional partners, industrial partners, and incubators.

  • 5:00-6:30 p.m. - Webinar 6: "R&D, Spinoffs, and Venture Capital: What Are They All About?"

Webinar 5 - Hosted by Julien Arthue de La Villarmois and Xavier Wartelle

Engineers, researchers, and scientists develop many innovative products within their organizations. Unfortunately, these products rarely find their market. Why? What can be done? Who should be approached and when? How can they be deployed internationally?

Thursday, September 23: 100% DIGITAL OPEN INNOVATION CHALLENGE

  • 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Co-organized with Agorize on an open innovation issue at SAFRAN, with several prizes up for grabs

Friday, September 24: RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY START-UPS... WHAT ARE THE CONNECTIONS? 

  • 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. : Jury Challenge (online teams)
