General engineer, student curriculum, third-year expertise in bioengineering: biomechanics, ergonomics, and professional environment.
Campus
Arts et Métiers Campus Arts et Métiers Paris
Objectives
Train engineers who are skilled in the field of health technologies.
To integrate into this multidisciplinary field, future engineers must be able to formalize issues specific to the fields of biomechanics and the professional environment specific to medical devices.

Program
1. Overview of the medical device industry
3. Kinematic and kinetic analysis of movement
4. Mechanical modeling of the human body
5. Biomaterials
6. Lesional biomechanics and traumatology
7. Anatomy
8. Medical imaging and geometric modeling
These courses are illustrated by guest lectures (Materialise, LNE, Mocaplab , etc.).
They are applied during practical work, carried out using IBHGC equipment. .. The courses are also put into practice during mini-projects, carried out in partnership with manufacturers who have proposed the problem: Design of prostheses, exoskeletons, or evaluation systems.
