The Arts et Métiers campus Arts et Métiers Cluny is hosting the Young Researchers and Businesses forums. The theme is "wood, a sustainable and innovative material, seeking brainpower." These forums are opportunities for discovery and exchange. Careers, higher education, technological developments, and business needs are discussed in order to show high school students little-known career options.

Wood, a sustainable and innovative material, seeks brainpower

The versatile wood industry is at the heart of urban planning, construction, and environmental issues. It is present in markets as diverse as paper and cardboard, particle board, packaging, interior design, construction, green chemistry, and energy.

To meet tomorrow's challenges, innovation and research are exploring and developing new products, processes, and uses, helping to make this sector even more competitive, while remaining socially responsible.

After a general presentation of the wood industry and its evolution, several workshops will be offered, providing opportunities to meet researchers, teachers and students from Arts et Métiers, engineers, and professionals who will present their career paths and activities.
