Arts et Métiers is ranked sixth among French engineering schools in terms of employability according to the Times Higher Education ranking and fifth in the Shanghai ranking for mechanical engineering.

To find out, each year the Times Higher Education ranking reveals the international universities and schools that offer the best employability. Published on November 16, among this ranking 1two French institutions appear in the top 150.

Among them, Arts et Métiers is the sixth French engineering school in the ranking.

The fifth-ranked engineering school in France

Arts et Métiers recently made a remarkable entry into the Shanghai ranking for Mechanical Engineering, positioning itself as the 5th French engineering school and the 9th French institution, in the 151-200 range, in the international ranking published in 2018. It should be noted that some of our partners are also ranked highly: Texas A&M University is in 7th place, while RWTH Aachen University is in the 51-75 range and the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is in the 76-100 range.

A ranking that should improve further

" The ranking that has just been published takes into account publications for the period 2012-2016, " Ivan Iordanoff continues. " Our indicators show that the period 2013-2017 was even more prolific, and we should remain at least at this level next year."
