ISYTHERM 2 Chair - Brand new

After five years of fruitful collaboration within the ISYTHERM joint laboratory, Arts et Métiers Valeo have decided to strengthen their partnership by creating the ISYTHERM 2 industrial chair.

Scientific officer

The research work of the ISYTHERM 2 chair focuses on the engineering of thermal systems for land mobility. Its main objectives are:

  • Encourage innovative research and develop innovative technologies, particularlythe optimization of thermal and airflow component performance.
  • To work towards transferring the results of joint efforts
  • To increase knowledge in the field ofthermal systems engineering, ensure its dissemination, and develop engineering training and education in this subject area.

By integrating the use of AI into modeling tools and drawing on the experimental platforms set up as part of the joint laboratory, this chair aims to design a new generation of turbomachinery.
