The aim of this Specialized Master's® program is to train experts with the skills to accelerate the necessary evolution of industrial practices in order to meet the constantly changing challenges of the industry.

The aim of this Specialized Master's® program is to train experts with the skills to accelerate the necessary evolution of industrial practices in order to meet the constantly changing challenges of the industry.

PROGRAM

The program is available remotely and on the Paris campus (hybrid), full-time, and runs on a work-study basis over 12 months.

  • 410 hours of training divided into 5 modules:
    • Collaborative Engineering Process: product design process, areas of innovation, the extended enterprise in the 21st century
    • Building Information Modeling (BIM) management: introduction to BIM, the role of BIM Manager, BIM and collaborative working, major BIM projects, Digital Heritage, BIM and the MOP law, BIM interoperability management, associated tools and standards
    • Advanced management of digital product mock-ups: digital mock-ups, methods and models for building digital mock-ups, management and use of digital mock-ups, application to a business sector
    • The PLM approach and the supporting information system: product lifecycle, PLM concepts and links with CRM, SCM, SRM, and ERP, data exchange and interoperability, technical data management systems (PDM Product Data Management)
    • Designing and deploying a PLM/BIM project: benchmark, roadmap, change management

  • A professional thesis project in a company: this involves a professional assignment in a company or organization. It requires the student to write a document and defend it. The Master's student is supervised by a company manager and an academic tutorArts et Métiers. It takes place on a work-study basis over 12 months (approximately 35 weeks).

Educational objectives

The objective of this training is to:

  • Optimizing the industrial competitiveness of businesses
  • Ensure collaboration between co-contractors in "extended enterprise" mode.
  • Create, maintain, share, and manage the product development cycle in accordance with the company's various information system tools.
  • Supporting master's students and providing them with the skills they need to participate in the development and evolution of industrial processes.

  • Duration: 400 hours of training
  • Teaching period: September/February
  • Professional period: March/September

ASSESSMENT METHODS

  • Written and oral exams, assessment by the host company, assessment of the defense, and assessment of the report.
  • Graduation rate: 95%

ADMISSION PROCESS

Teaching methods

In-person, 6 months of theoretical training and 6 months of immersion in a company through an internship or professional training contract, when conditions allow.
